Frequently asked questions.

What’s your photography style?

My style is a blend of natural, candid moments with a touch of creative (dare-I-say cinematic) flair. I love capturing real emotions as they happen, so you’ll get a mix of those heartfelt, unposed moments along with beautifully composed editorial-style portraits. If you’re after a relaxed yet artistic vibe, you’ll love the results!

How far in advance should we book?

I recommend booking as soon as you have your wedding date to secure your date, especially during peak wedding season. Typically, couples book me 9–12 months in advance, but if your date is sooner, feel free to reach out—let’s see if I’m available.

What’s included in your wedding photography packages?

Every package I offer includes a full consultation, hand-edited images, and an online gallery for you to download, share, and print your photos. Depending on the package, you can also enjoy extras like a second photographer, pre-wedding sessions, and custom albums.

Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely! Whether your wedding is right here in Berkshire or somewhere further afield, I’d be honoured to join you. If your wedding is outside of my local area, let’s chat about travel arrangements—I’m happy to accommodate.

How many photos will we receive and when?

The number of photos depends on the length of your wedding, how much you have going on and the package you choose. You’ll receive sneak peeks within 1 week of your day and your full online gallery within 6 weeks (possibly sooner, depending on the season). You can download, share, select favourites, and order prints, albums and more directly from your gallery. You can expect around 50 digital images per hour. I always choose quality over quantity and handpick your gallery to ensure you have a wide selection of images edited in my signature style.

Will you be the photographer on our wedding day?

Yes, absolutely! When you book me, I’ll be the one capturing your wedding. If you choose a package that includes a second shooter, I’ll bring along a trusted professional to help cover all the angles. In the incredibly unlikely event that I am ill or some other unforeseen issue occurs, I have a trusted group of talented wedding photographers that are able to step in to cover the day. I am a belt-and-braces girl, so I always have a back-up plan!

Can we give you a list of specific shots we want?

Of course! I always love hearing about the special moments and people that are important to you. I’ll use your list as a guide and combine it with my experience to ensure we capture all the key moments and more.

I make time for a few formal group shots (parents and grandparents in particular love these and they can make a lovely post-wedding gift). On average each group shot takes about 5 minutes to organise, so I recommend no more than about 10 of these.

Do you offer pre-wedding and engagement sessions?

Yes, I do! Pre-wedding and Engagement sessions are a great way for us to get to know each other and for you to get comfortable in front of the camera. This is a really great extra if you are feeling a bit nervous about having your photos taken on the day, as it gives you a taste of what to expect. Typically a session will last between 1-2 hours and they’re included in some of my packages, or you can book one separately.

How do we book you?

Booking is easy! Just get in contact via my contact form or give me a call, and we’ll schedule a consultation to chat about your big day. A 20% non-refundable deposit and signed contract is required to secure your date, with the balance due 6 weeks before the big day. Once the deposit is paid & contract is signed, you’re all set!

What can we expect once we have booked you?

I’ll work closely with you throughout the planning process. This ensures I have a clear picture of your priorities and how you want the day to feel. When you book, you’ll receive my incredible Welcome Guide to help you plan your day - honestly it’s jam packed with helpful info and tips to help you get the most from your day. Often, couples organise calls with me during this time, as I can make suggestions to help you get the most out of the day. I’ll officially touch base again 6-8 weeks before your wedding and again a few days before the day to get the final timeline, but I am always here should you need anything. On the day, I will act as an additional coordinator, helping to keep things on track so you can be in the moment and celebrate with your chosen few.
